Dr Sourav Adhikari completed his Bachelor in Medicine ( MBBS ) with Honours in many Subjects from Bankura Sammilani Medical College .
He did his Masters in Orthopaedic Surgery ( MS Orthopaedics ) from Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research and SSKM Hospital, Kolkata. SSKM is considered to be one of the best tertiary care hospitals in Eastern India.
He was trained in Trauma surgery and Joint Replacement in Apollo Multi-speciality Hospital, Kolkata . He also completed special training in Arthroscopic Surgery.
His area of interest is Deformity correction and limb Lengthening. He did his fellowship in deformity correction and limb lengthening under the legend , Dr Milind Chaudhary.
He worked in Bankura Sammilani Medical college and Hospital as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon . He performed many Ilizarov surgeries for Nonunion, bone infections, deformities and lengthening successfully. He trained many undergraduate and post graduate students during his tenure.
He is 10 years + experience in deformity correction and Ilizarov surgeries. He presented his cases in many national conferences. He delivered lectures in seminar and conferences around the country.
He is now practising in and around Bankura as Consultant Deformity correction and lengthening Surgeon.
